Grandma Casual

At the same time as purchasing my previous amazing 99p dress - I also purchased another dress for 99p that is no less amazing! It is total Grandma Casual and I love it!

Dress - Vintage (eBay), Shoes - Primark, Leggings - Newlook Inspire.

I absolutely love this dress and, like my other one, I can't believe I only paid 99p for it! It is an amazing length, the cutest kitschy floral print and is super soft and comfortable. It wouldn't be ideal to wear on a really hot day because it's quite a thick jersey material, but when it is warmer, I will be rocking it bare legged! I think it will look much better minus the leggings but it was definitely not warm enough to go without them today!

It has the cutest neckline and bust - almost like a vintage nurses uniform! It also has amazing, slightly dropped waist detailing that makes me feel wonderfully hour glass.

My skin has been terrible lately due to a variety of stresses and being generally run down, so I've been trying to wear makeup as little as possible. This was the first time I'd warn makeup in 2 days and my skin does feel better for it! You can also definitely tell that it is getting nearer to the summer time as my freckles are slowly making their presence felt!

My lovely man and I went on a bank holiday date afternoon to see the final Miyazaki film! It is a lovely tale about a man who dreams his ideas and meets the love of his life. Although it isn't as instantly loveable as some of his other films, it is definitely still enchanting!

My Fat Legs Need Sun Too

Hi everyone! As you all know, the weather over the last week or so has been inexplicably glorious! Thus, my fat, tattooed, neon white legs received their first full outing, EVER!

Dress - ASOS Curve, Shoes - Primark, Socks - Newlook, Unseen Chub Rub Preventing Shorts - eBay.

Needless to say, even I was shocked at the reaction my legs received! I had random youths shouting offensive comments at me from their cars, disapproving stares from the elderly and 'discreet' chuckling from random groups of people.

Now, I'm really not one to moan and whine about the unfair treatment of fat people, but, it was just plain ridiculous. I have fat legs, I have tattoos, I have incredibly white skin - if you don't like it, don't look! You don't see me commenting on or laughing at your hideous haircut or ridiculous outfit now do you?

So after this experience, I would like to proclaim that, I love my fat, tattooed, neon white legs and you can just shut the hell up if you don't like it!

Normally I steer clear of orange as it does clash somewhat with my hair but i thought screw it when I saw this dress! I bought it 2 sizes bigger to ensue it was as smocky as possible and it did not disappoint! It has the most adorable clashing patterns, it is ridiculously comfortable and so airy, so perfect for hot days!

I love these shoes, especially teamed with these socks. The two together remind me of what I had to wear in primary school and the shoes are so comfortable I could live in them - but I don't want to wear them out.

I decided a little extra orange couldn't hurt so I threw on some Rimmel - Shirley Temple, from their cocktail collection. I love this shade, it has such depth and looks amazing in the light!

So to all you ladies who are feeling insecure about baring your legs this summer, I say embrace to chub or the lack of tan or your heavy collection of tattoos and let those pins see the sun! They deserve to bask in it's warm, comforting light just as much as the rest of your body! Bugger what anyone else thinks!

The 99p Spend Of The Century

Yesterday my lovely man and I were off to a wedding party. I was desperate for an eBay purchase to arrive so I could wear it and it did!

Dress - eBay (vintage), Bag - Vintage, Tights - Evans, Shoes - Primark.

This dress cost me 99p! When I say it, I can actually hardly believe it myself. It's incredible! The colour, the fit, the length. I am in love with it. If I could marry a dress, I would marry this one right now. It's even oddly on trend with the faux split between the top and the skirt! It was so comfortable and made me feel fabulous!

I also love these shoes. My man informed me they did not go with the dress at all before we left the house, but I decided to be bold and wear them anyway because I liked the clash! They were insanely comfortable, especially for a first time wear and the little ankle strap is such a cute detail.

I kept my makeup simple and classic. Strong eyebrows and flicked black eyeliner (which is GOSH long lasting liquid eyeliner. I swear by this and would be reluctant to use a different one as this one is incredible and lasts literally until you want it to). As the dress and shoes were both bold colours/prints, I didn't add a lipstick as I didn't want to ditract from the dress so I went with a gentle pink-tinged Chanel lipgloss.

Fat Girls Should Not Have Short Hair

Since my last blogpost, I decided that I am not meant to have long hair. It just isn't me. All it did was frustrate me, which meant that 99.9% of the time, I would just wear it up. So last week, I got rid!

I cannot express how good it feels! I feel like me again! I used Michelle Williams Louis Vuitton campaign as hairspiration and had a few blonde highlights added. I am not a long haired girl. I am a fat girl who is happy to say fuck you to all the naysayers and crop the crap out of my weave and I love it!

Dress - ASOS Curve, Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters, Leggings - Newlook Inspire, Shoes - Yumi.

Not only do I have amazing new hair, I have also found a dress that I feel was literally made for my body! This gorgeous ASOS Curve 90's cut jersey dress is just incredible. The neckline is unusual and the faux buttons add the cutest twist of detail (I'm glad they are faux buttons as my gigantic boobs tend to ruin any attempt I make to wear anything buttoned). It nips in perfectly at the waist and makes me feel utterly hourglass! The fall of the skirt is so flattering and as it gets warmer I am definitely going to bare my pins and go leggings/tights free!

I purchased this gorgeous dress off of my beautiful fellow plus size blogger Megan, whose amazing blog can be found here - http://theclosetofmeganfaye.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1!
