Here Comes The Summer Sun

So, as y'all know, the weather this week has been ridiculously glorious! That being said, I am probably as white and ginger as humanly possible so automatically shrivel up and burn at even the slightest hint of sun and this is why I love this seasons kimono trend! Thank god for cover ups!

Dress - Newlook Inspire, Kimono - Newlook Inspire, Leggings - Newlook Inspire, Shoes - ASOS.

I don't love this seasons kimono trend because I want to hide my body - I love it because it allows me to sensibly give my skin a rest from the sun but look fabulous whilst doing so! This kimono is just perfect - light, breezy, band on trend with the crochet detail and I love the slightly longer length. Although it is a linen-esque material and does crease quite easily, it's worth it because it's delightful!

I managed to pick up this denim-look dress in the Newlook Inspire sale and it is utterly perfect for this insanely hot weather! It's a light jersey material with comfortable little capped sleeves and it is a perfect length to wear with or without leggings, depending on the situation/how well you tan!

Also please note my parents cat sneaking in on the photo action! He's such a diva.

I can honestly say I have never owned a pair of shoes as comfortable as these! Thank you ASOS! They feel like you're walking on marshmallows because they're made from some form of rubber, which gives you an extra spring in your step! The Birkenstock style of them is spot on trend and they go with pretty much everything!

Tattoos And Tying The Knot

Today I went to the wedding of the most beautiful couple I know! It was the most original, stunning occasion and the weather was absolutely glorious!

Dress - ASOS Curve, Shoes - Primark, Bag - Primark.

This dress makes me feel like a movie star. I really cannot praise it enough! It falls flawlessly and the cut and fit is perfection (I would definitely advise sizing up if you are larger chested). I am 5'7 and when I didn't have my heels on the dress was a little too long and would drag on the floor but it is definitely a dress made to be worn with heels! There is a split either side that sits just above my knee and is only feel visible when there is a breeze which I think is fabulous (it also makes me a feel a little like Angelina Jolie in the infamous black dress haha). Sadly I forgot to take a photograph of the back of the dress but it is cut out with a circle and has a bow to tie that falls beautifully through the centre of the cut out.

I am not at all the kind of girl that wears heels. I am tall as it is so don't always feel comfortable wearing a heeled shoe but I love these! They are from the Primark Wide Fit range and have a built in cushion that sits under the ball of your foot to ensure optimum comfort! The heel is high enough to make me feel fabulous but not high enough to make me feel uncomfortable and I love the cute ankle strap!

Despite red, white and blue being a rather patriotic colour combination - I decided to go for it anyway. I think the red lips add to extra drama that goes perfectly with the dress! I am wearing MAC - Lady Danger which comes out very red on me with a slight orange tinge, although some people have said to me it appears a lot more orange on them!

The wonderful couple looked absolutely divine and the brides made-to-measure dress was flawless!

Lots Of Love,
