Autumn, I Love You

There are no words to describe how glad I am to see the back of Summer! Colder nights, crisper days, YES, YES, YES! Anyway, yesterday we took our Little Man to get registered, to become a real person in the eyes of the law! I also, finally, felt halfway back to my old self and my old sense of style thanks to a glorious mustard number from ASOS Curve.

Shirt Dress - ASOS Curve (old), Leggings - Newlook Inspire, Shoes - Sole Diva at Simply Be, Socks - ASOS.

Oh this shirt, THIS SHIRT! Sadly I missed out on it when it was available on the ASOS site but I did manage to score it for £20 on eBay! God bless eBay! As a new Mum who is still breastfeeding, I have to consider this with EVERY outfit I choose SO shirt dresses are perfect as they are easy to whip open with no lifting or unnecessary exposure! I am so pleased I managed to get it as it is glorious. This is a size 28 and really, I must admit, it is noticeably a little big but as I'm still on the road to embracing my post baby body and rediscovering myself - I'm good with a little extra wiggle room! It's a very soft cord with no stretch however it is an oversized cut so should be fine to grab in your regular size! Although this isn't a piece from this season, mustard is a great colour right now and is a personal favourite of mine for Autumn! I am a little bit in love with this shirt and I can already see it becoming a firm, Autumn/Winter staple for me.

The very kind people at Simply Be sent me an outfit just before Eli was born, including these shoes! Sadly due to still breastfeeding the other two items aren't convenient for me to wear at the moment so I will be blogging them at a later date however, if you would like to check out Simply Be's amazing selection of shoes and Day Dresses etc in the meantime - just click! But these beauties really are fantastic. They're an EEE fit, however I must say, if you do have particularly wide feet, I wouldn't recommend them as I don't tend to need wide fit shoes normally and due to the pointed toe, these are a tad snug around my toes! But that should sort itself out after a few wears and a little stretch out! They have a very slight flatform which makes them super comfortable! This was also the first time I'd worn them  and they didn't rub at all which is an absolute victory in my eyes as I usually suffer hideously with new shoes abusing my poor feet! They are available in other colours too so get over to Simply Be and grab yourself a pair now! Perfect A/W footwear!

This was also Little Bun's outfit for the occasion! This baby grow is STUNNING and came courtesy of Nanny Jay via Joules - who have some beautiful baby pieces!

It feels SO good to be back on the blogging horse and I promise, from now on, I'm going to keep it up!

Lots Of Love,
KLJ x
